He was so relieved and comforted to have a loving boyfriend taking care of him. I can’t take that away from him in his vulnerable state. I’ll just pretend until his memories come back.”
“And what if they don’t?”
“The doctor is positive that the amnesia is just temporary. Besides, his eyes will be uncovered in about four to five weeks, so regardless, he’ll be able to find out the truth by then.”
“And what would you tell him then?”
Alec sighs again, his head beginning to ache. “I don’t know. I’ll think about it. But for now, he’s relieved and happy. And Izzy, I… I want to finally live before I die. To be reckless. To be happy. To love and be loved."
