Summary
After they return to London, Charles notices an escalation in people approaching Edwin with their attentions.
Which is fine! It's not that Charles is jealous. He wants Edwin to be happy and to have a chance at a fulfilling relationship, yeah? The problem is, Charles is aware that Edwin is unpracticed with these kinds of emotions and other people, and it would be very easy for someone to take advantage. And that’s not going to happen, not on Charles’ watch.
To make matters worse, the admirers are getting a little too intense. And Charles is starting to suspect there's more at work than everyone realizing his best mate is brills.
(Or: In which the damage to Edwin's soul across years of torture has had an unusual effect, and Charles needs to fix it before he's compelled to violence. Again.)

Summary
After Steve's medical discharge, he brings a recovering head injury and Bucky Barnes home to Brooklyn to lay down some roots in a historic brownstone apartment. To Steve, it's fitting. They're not just remodeling a home; they're building something new and unspoken, a place where they can put a name to what they've grown into.
Those intentions all come to a grinding halt when Bucky, wrapping up his final tour, comes home in a box. And start up again when Steve begins to see signs that Bucky isn't as gone as he'd thought.
Unfortunately, Bucky isn't the only secret the brownstone has hidden in its rooms, and Steve's well-intentioned efforts open doors that were meant to stay shut.

Two days after their final high school exam, Prompto and Noct are due to meet in Insomnia's Royal Park. They'd planned to celebrate in all the ways Ignis would disapprove of: sleeping in late, grabbing something to eat at the burger truck in the park, then moving on to the arcade and playing games until they can't anymore.
Prompto arrives early, not wanting to miss a thing.
Noct doesn't arrive at all.

Summary
The sun is warm on Ignis’ face as he stands at the window of the hotel room in Lestallum. He stands there so long he can sense the sun drop out of the sky, the shadow of evening drawing the warmth away.
He hears Gladio preparing for his mercy run: a round-trip to the Crown City for medications that will ease Prompto's pain.
Gladio comes to stand beside him. It's a few moments before he speaks, and when does his voice is loaded with grief. "I don’t think he’s got more than three days in him."
They are long past hiding their grief from each other. Ignis doesn't move his face away from the last of the sun's heat, and has to force his voice out of hiding when he says, "I don’t think he has even that."
(In which Ignis and Gladio once more see a brother to the other side.)
