“Yeah, Tucker,” Kenny’s smirk is evident in his voice, even if Craig can barely make out the little gap in his teeth peeking between his lips, “are you feelin’ stupid?”
Really, Craig should say no. He should stay in his room, where he won’t end up arrested or in another country or in some other situation that would undoubtedly ruin his last hours of high school and potentially his summer break. Peer pressure be damned.
But Kenny’s still grinning at him, effortlessly gorgeous even as a gust of wind whips his shaggy hair into his face, and a pang of regret stabs Craig in the gut that he never did anything about his ridiculous crush.
Stupid is an understatement.
