Summary
In the year 3045, there is an on-going war with high intellectual beings from another planet. As such, the Earth is under the threat of subjugation from the foreign species, and desperation slowly erodes Humanity. The pride of the Earth dwellers simply won’t allow themselves to be colonized by these….. aliens. Billions of people have died from this resistance, the Earth population slowly dwindling.
With so many people dying, the higher ups had no other choice but to think of a solution- a way to gather deadly, efficient troops to exterminate these colonizers in a short amount of time.
Lee Jihoon wakes up from the Virtual Simulator after a week of simulation, having lived the virtual and fake life of a successful man with valuable medical knowledge and the culmination of wisdom.
Just what they needed in the assembled team of 13.

These streets are… he falters. He does not know these streets, not at all.
Venti scrambles to find the nearest reflective object. He finds one on a giant metal-like wagon painted bright red, the glass dark but clear enough to see his reflection. With the rough texture of concrete under his feet, he realizes he doesn't even have shoes on. What greets him as his reflection throws that realization at the bottom of his priorities.
He is a child.
"Fuck," Venti breathes, voice high in disbelief.
Or: A new world. A new life. Venti finds himself in a different world and a different story.

“-and Gamma really hates it when I mess with his organizational system but I do it anyway because it’s funny to piss him off.” That’s Theta’s voice, from the other room. It sounds like he’s talking to someone new. Huh, Scaramouche can’t believe any one version of the Dottores is capable of making friends.
“Which one is Gamma again?” A new voice. Scaramouche pauses. There was something about it…Dottore makes a segment... of younger Scaramouche (circa pre-backstory cutscene).
"I am not your Mother!" Ei shrieks.
Kuni recoils. That… stings worse than the Musou no Hitotachi.
Then, the Tengu says, "Raiden Shogun!"
Wait, Shogun? Kuni whips back to stare at the image of his mother, reassessing her, and oh… It's easy to tell she's just like him now that he knows what he's looking for. Scaramouche was not lying about them being identical. How mortifying to have called your sister your mother.
Kuni winces. "Sorry."
