He is lonely. He thinks back to years ago, when Wen Xu broke Lan Wangji’s leg and he’d been kept in hospital, too, without any visitors except his brother and Wei Wuxian. Was Lan Wangji lonely like this?
“Mn,” Lan Wangji replies, giving the smallest nod, not knowing Wei Wuxian’s already going off. “and to see your condition with my own two eyes.”
The words bring him back to the present, and Wei Wuxian furrows his brows. “Hm? You worried ‘bout me, Lan Zhan?”
“Mm.” Lan Wangji hums quietly and looks down, not at him anymore.
