Summary
There's an ongoing war between the humans who evolved to possess a quirk and the ones who didn't. While the latter ones thrive on the surface, the others are forced to live underground fighting for their lives. Akane, Ryo and Yuri on one side while Katsuki and Deku on the opposite.
While the war goes on, dark secrets resurface, a new love blossoms and an old one wilts into obsession.
I'm currently fixing some typos and making the whole timing more clear. The update date will remain the one related to the last chapter uploaded (so far chapter 7 — Dangerous) so that the fic doensn't jump ahead of all your other bookmarks just for tiny details!
I haven't updated in a bit and probably I won't for a while, both because I'm doing a bit of the aforementioned revision but mostly because the exam session is approaching!

I loved Izuku's duality here. When the manga came out and we got the first epilogue I was kinda dissatisfied that Izuku seemed to want to stay a teacher (and then we got the fan book). What I loved (and still do) about this fic is that it shows Izuku's intrinsic heroic nature (no spoilers). Also I'm a goner for soft Katsuki. Kudos to you author

Only two words. The trope. I genuinely love how Izuku and Katsuki's dynamic is analysed here. And I also appreciate the way the author represented a "pathetic" situation (I'm sorry I have no other words to describe it) with so much tact. I also love the whole "before getting with you I needed to heal myself" thing. It resonates a lot with me. Thank you for this beautiful story
