Yet, after all that…” Her voice cracks, helpless. “I still cannot find it in myself to forgive her. How can I tell my people to forgive her, to preach mercy and compassion when I struggle to do so?”
She faces Nefer, her expression a portrait of anguish, her words a plaintive plea. “How can I guide my flock, when I am lost myself?”
