he pushes her aside, steals her boat, her food, and— oh, there's even a boat snack right here! finally, the gods are granting him mercy after—
wrong.
in a turn of events, he gets saddled with some stupid kid to "right his wrongdoings". whatever that means.
he just doesn't realize that she'll be sticking with him longer than he'd thought. like, a LOT longer.

“What— What are you doing?” To his credit, he manages to pull the child to a full stop by yanking him back, bringing him in closer to hold his shoulders again and glare at him in the eyes, no matter the way he winces at their familiar colour. “You are aware that you have just undergone a panic attack, are you not?”
There’s something in Potter’s eyes that seems to flash at that, but it’s gone within the moment. Severus files that away for later ruminations.
“I know,” he says matter-of-factly, like he’s just declared that the sky is blue.

Unbalanced, was a word he’d use after repairs were done. Danger and Threat and Unknown??? would also come along in that order.
Last thing he’d seen was a distressed Chica hovering somewhere above him with her hands over her beak. Found it nice that she worried for him before everything faded out into black, the last residue of blinking red and the repeated phrase of DANGER! DANGER! DANGER! mellowing down into the silent abyss.

Summary
Tamtey's favorite color is purple but her life is defined by red.
It has followed her from birth, to theft, to freedom. She cannot escape the blood, no matter how hard she tries. She knows it will follow her into death.
But perhaps not all red spells her doom and perhaps there are other colors that may define her.
A retelling of the Game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora with my own little spin. Partially faithful but with an added romance between Tamtey and So'lek, more changes can and will come. Def in progress. Will go into both DLCs and probably the newest expansion though I can't promise canon compliance there.
