without another thought, dream slammed the door open, ready to face whatever threat was present. time seemed to stop as he took in the state of daquavis's house. deep scratches littered the walls, shredded bedding was strewn across the floor, gear and weapons scattered. most surprising, though, was the eight foot tall bicolored dragon, glowing white eyes staring intently into dream's very being. huge wings spread as the dragon turned to fully face the man still frozen in the doorway, slowing stalking towards him. dream stood completely still, the beast now inches away from him, sharp eyes unblinking.
