“You’re under arrest, kid. Don’t make this difficult,” the man sighs, and Shoto almost feels sympathy at the evident exhaustion in his voice.
“I don’t think so. I have a date tonight, and so do you,” he counters, gesturing widely toward the seemingly endless files surrounding him. Those will be transferred to the police now. Eraserhead is just the man for the job.
He feels the knife withdraw and turns to meet the man’s tired eyes. “I’ll buy you a coffee next time, old man.”
“Sure, we can stop for a coffee on the way to the police station.”
“Don’t get ahead of yourself, gramps. But hey, I’ve got someone waiting for me. See ya.”
Shoto was born into the world as a nobody—no quirk, no soulmate. His worth, therefore, is nonexistent, right? Well, as the vigilante Nexus, he’s about to prove them all wrong.
