The deep giggle close to her ear sent shivers through her skin, goosebumps blooming all over the surface, and she hit the other a few more times just because she could.
“Hush, we're in a library, hidenka,” Koushi whispered at the base of her ear, the gust of air hot against the shell, making her tremble yet again. A playful smile curved those lips — the red paint, once carefully applied, now smudged past her lip line —, showing even more traces of pink that had nothing to do with the cosmetic, and everything to do with how much it had rubbed and pressed into her own until the color started to wear off. “You must keep quiet.”

“Kei, can I kiss you?”
And really, Kei's brain has never felt as slow and mushy before. His tongue is heavy, his throat closed off, his jaw locked in place. No matter which bit of his body that he turns to, it feels like nothing listens to him anymore. It's weird, it's not him. Even then, his best friend understands him as well as always.
He really wanted to kiss this boy.
He would absolutely fill and map Tadashi's body with them.
Kei let his eyes slide back to the boy in front of him, blinking rather slowly again. He nodded his head.
“Kiss me.” The verbal acceptance almost felt charged, despite the simplicity of the statement. No flourish, just a question and confirmation.

Oh, it is harmful, Lan Wangji thinks through a spinning head as he feels Wei Wuxian twist their hands this way and that, testing the limits of the curse. It is most certainly harmful.

(tl;dr a curse makes teen!wwx and teen!lwj hold hands. lwj, who is very much in denial about his feelings, tries his best not to panic and wwx decides that Operation: Make Lan Zhan My Best Friend is a GO. hilarity ensues)

Kazuya straightens, pinning Eijun beneath half-lidded, honeyed irises. He’s still smiling, something small and a little shy, with flushed cheeks and mussed hair and very, very kissable lips. “Pushy,” Kazuya teases, fidgeting with the material of Eijun’s pants stretching over his knee. “Fine, okay. For each bone you get right, I’ll give you a kiss.”
Excitement blossoms in Eijun’s belly. He grins and pokes Kazuya in the middle of his chest. He’s got this. He’s going to get so many kisses. “Sternum,” he announces, eyeing Kazuya’s mouth expectantly.

Summary
It was unexpected when Miyuki had gotten hurt during their match with Seiko. The catcher kept playing like nobody’s business and unsurprisingly, Miyuki had been on strict orders to rest for their next game, limited to play with just 60% of his abilities in their next match at Koshein in five days.
But what really caught everyone off guard was Sawamura. He'd come up with a plan—one that was surprisingly clever, even by their coach’s standards. Of course, it also meant piling a mountain of pressure onto himself and declaring a war against his own stamina. Not that he minded. If Miyuki couldn’t carry the team this time, then Eijun would. That’s what a battery does, right?
If only things hadn’t taken an unexpected turn in the middle of the game—one that put Sawamura right in the center of it all.
