Ballister looked up from his hands to see his boyfriend standing rigidly a few feet away. He looked ashen, hands shaking slightly. Ballister’s own face was streaked with tears and no doubt puffy. What a pair they made. His hands were beginning to feel numb again, the world a little distant.
They couldn’t stay like this at this moment. It would only make things break more than they already were.
“Honey,” he placated, voice thick with emotion. “Honey, I need some space. This will just get worse if we don’t take a break for today.”-
Ballister has a panic attack in front of Ambrosius and discovers the fact that he might need to set a few boundaries after his boyfriend cut off his arm.
