But this day isn't an ordinary one, for when they're about to close up the lab an unexpected visitor changes both of their lives forever.Loosely inspired by the plot of The Proposal (2009). Semi-canon to the show. You don't have to have watched the movie to read this! I'm just crediting the inspo for the premise.

Jayce groans miserably.
“I know, I’m working on it,” he says. “I just want him to be comfortable. There’s been a lot of bad shit in our past. If I can show him that things can change here, I will.”Cait looks at him fondly. “That’s a very noble goal, Jayce.”
Jayce really, really wishes he could agree that any of his Viktor-related goals are noble. From where he sits, they’re all varying degrees of selfish, licentious, unrealistic, and horny.

Summary
"You don't want to be hung over for his big day right? That Wouldn't Look good on you as the best man?" There is a knowing tone in her voice, and Jayce has to look away.
His eyes land back on Viktor, where his gaze had been focused before she found him. Jayce had found a quiet corner away from their friends to drink and take a break. When he agreed to be best man he didn't think it'd be this difficult.
Viktor is smiling and laughing. His arm looped through his fiance's, leaning more on him instead of his cane. The sight makes Jayce's stomach turn over. They are sweet together and there is nothing Jayce can ever find fault with the guy.

Viktor is getting married tomorrow, and Jayce is terribly in love with him.
