“I guess I’m just angry about a lot of things.”
“Things like…?”
“Like, Mason, for fucking one.” Mike groans, untangling one of his hands to coarse through his bangs. He pushes it back, revealing his beautifully expressive brows. They curve, swoop, frown. Will holds back the urge to kiss it better. “And the fact that I knew your heat was coming but couldn’t get you to the nurse’s office fast enough. The fact that I couldn’t even stand up to Mason and his lackeys. That you did and I let you.”
If anybody else had said that, Will would’ve been offended. But coming from Mike, he knows he didn’t say that to mean he thinks Will can’t protect himself. He knows that he can. He was the only one to know it. Instead, it loosens Will’s control over his pheromones and a puff of affection shoots out.
Mike picks up on it, obvious from his quick sniff, but he keeps rambling on anyway. “The fact that that mouthbreather’s pheromones are what triggered your heat when it should have been mine,” he snarls out the last few words.
-Or, alternatively, how many heats does it take for Mike and Will to get together? The answer will not surprise you.

Summary
For the first time, being wanted back doesn’t feel like a fantasy he's invented to torture himself. Someone will want him; that much is practically a given. The realization has crept up on him slowly over the past few months, in subtle glances from strangers and knowing smiles from other omegas in the hall.
He is, apparently, desirable.
But, if that’s true, and it's not ridiculous to imagine someone actually wanting him, then why has he been acting like his only option is to sit around and hope Mike trips over the realization himself?
Mike is many wonderful things, after all, but observant is not one of them.

Kageyama inhales sharply like he’s just been slapped. Then he leans forward, his face filling up all the spaces in Hinata’s vision. “You may not be Karasuno’s ace yet,” Kageyama growls, his blue eyes pinning Hinata’s own with their intensity, “but I will always toss to you, I will always choose you, because you’re my true ace.”

Mike let his fingers slide from Will’s cheek to brush lightly against his bottom lip. The other boy’s lips parted almost immediately, making a thrill run through Mike. He had a stupid theory, something he’d half-jokingly wondered about, that maybe Will enjoyed having something in his mouth. And he couldn’t resist testing it.
