Summary
The scent in their room feels like a punch to his senses. It smells overwhelmingly sweet—something intense and heady and decadent to the point that saliva is flooding the back of his mouth. It reminds him of the floral sweetness of stone fruit at full ripeness on the stem, of the molasses-like richness of honey. It’s delicious and intoxicating and gives Chanyeol a rush that makes his head spin in the best way. It’s a scent that only ever appears under specific circumstances.
Which can only mean one thing.

Summary
"That tired, huh?" Chanyeol asks. He releases the grip on his shoulder to start running his hand slowly up and down the smooth expanse of Jongin’s back. The lean muscles there aren't as hard in his relaxed state, but the firmness that he works to maintain lately is present underneath. "You look so pretty like this, Nini."
He's still admiring and petting Jongin's back when he notices that eye is staring up at him again in silent regard. It stirs the steady heat that's been slowly simmering away inside him all morning.
"You gonna do anything about it?" he prompts when Chanyeol's hand ghosts over the small of his back again.

"Hyung."
Chanyeol stops moving altogether. He blinks those big brown eyes at him and it feels both like too much and not enough.
Jongin reaches out and places a hand on his forearm. He fights his inner demons that want to massage the firm muscle beneath his grip and succeeds. "I can stay," he smiles. "And you can make dinner while I watch."

Wooyoung stares at him, eyes bright and shining and so alive. “Sorry, couldn’t help myself,” he offers as an empty apology, licking his lips in renewed interest.
“How is he?” Hongjoong asks. He has his chin perched on Mingi’s shoulder and his breath is hot on his cheek.
Wooyoung smiles, all teeth this time. “Delicious,” he says.

“Or we could talk about the rest of us, who are here,” Wonbin says. The beer is helping him feel less like a hunted animal at the mere mention of Eunseok’s name, at least. “We don’t need him. If he doesn’t want to be part of it, then whatever. His loss.”
Four pairs of eyes look at him at the same time, and Wonbin’s hands tighten around his glass, wet and clammy.
“Actually, we do need him,” Sungchan says, and he sounds apologetic. “Mnet’s condition is that all of us have to sign on, or they’re rescinding the proposal.”

Or, years into the future, Wonbin is forced to face his biggest demon from the past: his falling out with Eunseok, who still wants absolutely nothing to do with him.

"Demons tend to enjoy pretty things, like that. They enjoy the idea of them, not for the shine, or the colour, nothing in the action of merely observing them, but for the potential. There is so much you can do to something pretty, so many ideas that can run through your head once your eyes are set on something unblemished, uninjured. It gets the brain moving, synapses firing, bursts of dopamine and adrenaline flowing through several pathways, ending in a perverse array of ideas.
Wooyoung is no different to the other demons, he adores pretty things.
And, unfortunately for Mingi, he just happens to be the prettiest thing Wooyoung has ever seen in his endless centuries of being alive."
