Sleep-inducing teas or elixirs, extra soft beds, extra firm beds, sleeping outside under the night sky, in a crowded inn, alone in his cottage, out by the sea with the calming sound of waves. But it appeared that the type of insomnia the princess suffered from was divinely stubborn. Rain or shine, cloudy or clear, she would always get up to sit cross-legged outside, leaning back on her arms, staring up at the sky until sunrise.
