"Everything I caused." Jack didn’t realize he’d said it aloud until Sara chimed in.
“Everything I caused, you mean.” She mumbled, shaking arms wrapped around herself. Jack could practically see the winged flashbacks take hold in her gaze, and he hated himself for it. Her breaths were becoming shallow now, chest heaving as it gulped frantically for air. Brezziana sat next to her, argument with Jack temporarily forgotten.
He stared at them for a moment, internally cursing. He’d had one job: get the others on board with his return to the Tower. Instead, he’d fought with Brezziana and sent Sara into another guilt spiral.He had to get Wander back.
It wasn't a choice.

Gi-hun swallows the want. Ignores the longing. Squeezes a little tighter on Young-il’s shoulder to check if he’s real.
“You can’t be here,” Gi-hun says, rough, hushed enough for the bystanders to not catch. They probably still do, the silence in the dormitory deafening.
“You weren’t supposed to be here,” Young-il says in return, leaning his head on the wall. He sighs and closes his eyes briefly. “You weren’t supposed to find out like this.”
