Summary
Shortly after Dick drops out of college, Batman and Robin find themselves trapped on an alternate version of Earth. One half of the planet is locked in an endless day and the other half is consumed by an eternal night, and their only hope of escape is a mysterious gateway over fifteen hundred miles away. As Bruce and Dick journey across the back of this forsaken world, they begin to spiral closer and closer together.

Summary
It’d be easier, Dick thinks, if there was something obvious he could point to. A clear-cut example, where any outside observer would have to agree. Something that couldn’t be argued to just be a power play, or training, or part-and-parcel of being a hostage.
There isn’t. Maybe that’s the point.
Dick paid attention in Batman’s training, he knows what grooming is. He knows what sexual abuse is. But this? This is something he has no frame of reference for.
Or: an apprentice fic where Slade’s kinks are a little unusual, and Dick has trouble finding where the line is.

After Dick interferes with Slade’s job in Gotham (which, to be fair, he’d only done because Slade interfered with his first), he decides the best way to prevent future retaliation is to strike a deal: if Slade agrees to leave Gotham alone, then Dick will stay with him alone for one night, and no matter what Slade does, he won’t run.
Though that doesn’t mean Dick is going to go down without a fight.
