Shane was tempted to protest - he’d only just arrived, it was still light outside, couldn’t they maybe ease into this? He hadn’t even gotten the house tour yet.
But then he realized he could use Ilya’s eagerness to his advantage - play with him a little.
“Wow, you’re that desperate to see me in it?” he asked, and set the duffel bag down, kneeling to unzip it. He fished out the lingerie and stood, holding it up to himself. “Is this what you want?”
Ilya’s eyes were dark, and he shifted subtly, spreading his thighs apart. “You know it is,” he said softly.

Summary
Ilya could count the number of times they had met on one hand, and they had only been playing in the NHL for a few months, so he had to have misheard him. He grabbed the remote and went back a few seconds, and he was certain. Shane had just said “Ilya”, on national television, in French, and Ilya was sure he was going to die from the massive rush of blood that shot to his dick.
This made no sense. Why would Shane, who had never called him anything except Rozanov, start calling him by his first name to a random French lady on some Wednesday?
TL; DR: 5 times Ilya interpreted the French translation of “there is” (which is il y a) as Shane Hollander saying his first name and one time Shane actually did say it.

Just a subtle shift of his wrist—tilting the dildo upward so the curved head kissed Shane’s prostate dead-on with every thrust.
The effect was immediate.
Shane’s back bowed violently. A high, girlish squeak bursted out of him—cute, almost shocked, the kind of sound he’d deny making forever. Then his mouth fell open in a silent scream. Just the obscene, wet squelch-squelch-squelch of the toy plunging in and out, lube foaming at the base, cream gathering in sticky white rings around his stretched rim.

It all started with a photo from an aquarium in Montreal. A shy fan nervously approached the two Metro’s players and asked for a photo. The photo was dark, all blue light from the large tanks. Shane stood there and smiled awkwardly, Hayden’s baby cradled to his chest. Hayden had his arm around the fan, a wild smile on his face.

Ilya shrugs and lists to the side a bit. “Forgot. Did I wake you, baby? I’m sorry,” he’s still slurring a bit, he knows. And the ‘baby’ is a dead giveaway that he’s drunk. He hardly ever uses that pet name. Can’t resist right now.
