Obi-Wan takes a breath, probably to agree with the queen, never one to turn down a polite offer and risk offense, but Anakin has had enough. He doesn’t want to join the queen anywhere, let alone to go to the drawing room, and he certainly doesn’t want to sit through Obi-Wan cheating at sabacc and cleaning out the royal treasury.
He wants his Master’s hands on him and he wants them now.

“Hey Cody, how’s your gallery opening coming along?” Ahsoka shuts her laptop and graciously gives it to Anakin to hold. He knows better than to open it without her permission. He’s still got the scar.
“Gallery opening?” Anakin interrupts, looking around at his roommates expectantly.
“I told you last week. And the week before that. It’s literally all I’ve talked about for two months,” Cody says, unimpressed. “I told you about the giant sculpture we had to install, and you said why did you make it so big, that’s what she said, then you laughed so hard you choked on your own spit.”
Or: Bribed into attending a gallery opening, Anakin Skywalker stumbles across a set of photographs and becomes enamored with the stories they tell and the man who tells them.

Professor Obi-Wan Kenobi: PhD, Coruscant University English Department, loving husband and well-respected member of the community, self-proclaimed Oxford comma obsessive was living the life he was intended to live.
Anakin Skywalker: final year engineering undergraduate student, merit scholar and VP of the Coruscant University Robotics Team (nationally recognized), and self-proclaimed schematics nerd was living the life he was intended to live.
Anakin needs to fulfill a final elective to graduate, and stay focused in the process. Obi-Wan needs to control whatever's been eating away at him these last few years.
Things always looked so much more promising on paper, didn't they?

Summary
Anakin Skywalker was never found by the Jedi. He escaped slavery and carved out a life in the neon underbelly of Nar Shaddaa, surrounded by engine grease, street racers, and the constant hum of the Force he never learned to control.
Obi-Wan Kenobi left the Order before it fell, exhausted and disillusioned by the war. After Order 66, he keeps to the shadows, another ghost haunting a lost era.
A broken ship brings him to Anakin's door. The Force keeps him there.

Summary
The thing is, being able to talk to houses doesn't actually preclude them from conspiring to ruin your life. Dex finds this out a little too late. First comes the Dib Flip, then Nursey's bed, and the water heater...the Haus definitely has it in for him.
In which Dex has house magic, Haus has Haus magic, and at least one of them is in love with Nursey.
