Summary
Severus is barely hanging on. He has no friends, honour or reputation left, and the only ones that will associate with him are death eater wannabes.
When he comes home for summer after his fifth year at Hogwarts, he finds that his mother is dead and his father is missing. To top it all of, some two-hundred-year old contract between the Princes and the Blacks states that Severus has to marry Sirius Black before his 19th birthday.
He just cannot get a break, can he?

When he comes to Hogwarts, a certain witch in the hospital wing finds out about his bruises and his abusive father.
He confides his story with her and pleads with her to keep it quiet.
So she does.
At least, until Severus’ fourth year. Where his bruises and wounds are too horrific to keep quiet.
Now, he has a rehabilitation center at Hogwarts.
The Marauders try to apologize.
But Severus doesn’t accept their apology.
