Summary
Arthur has been with Dutch and Hosea for a few months now, still unsure as to why these two men have saved him and shown him such unparalleled kindness. He does not know what he did to deserve this, but dammit if he's not gonna spend the rest of his life trying to pay them back.
Dutch and Hosea have rescued Arthur off the streets and taken him in. Now, it's starting to seem the hardest and most dangerous of challenges will be convincing the boy of his place with them.

Steve Rogers and Clint Barton's dynamic in the original run of Avengers is one of the vibiest goddamn things I've ever seen in comic books. Clint even tells Steve to wash his mouth out with soap in issue #42.
So I did. And then Steve spanked Clint, because he deserved it.
