The packaging was minimalistic, but not in a careful way. In the I-bought-this-at-a-100-yen-shop kind of way. But maybe that’s because these aren’t exactly market approved in Japan yet, so his very legal and safe purchase from an overseas seller was not at all anything to worry about.
So, sure, he didn’t exactly have a how-to guide to using a pheromone candle, but it seems pretty self explanatory to him.
Unpartnered heat + pheromone candle = comfort.
No alpha needed. Just a match.
Or, Satoru buys a candle and fucks up Suguru's peace for good.

There’s just this feeling. A little flip-flop in Satoru’s chest. A thing he can’t quite place, fluttery and airborne and nervous, like the moments before the first drop of one of the coasters at Fuji-Q Highland. Satoru’s only been there, like, once, but it’s enough for Satoru to know that that’s the feeling he gets whenever he hears Suguru talk about one of his hookups, or his phone chirps with a Grindr notification.

Knot me, nnfh, knot me,” Deku looks at him, clear-eyed and with a little shaky smile on his face, and Katsuki unravels like a spool of ribbon tossed over a ledge.
“FUCK!” Katsuki roars, bearing down as his thrusts get quicker, faster, desperate. “Take it,” he breathes, groaning and heaving heavy breaths. “Take it, take it, takeittakeit, take it!”

Suguru just hums in response, his stupidly big hands pressing a little into the exposed skin of his waist beneath his sweater, fingertips rubbing little circles that Satoru’s going to be thinking about for days. But all deniability goes out the window when he feels a soft nuzzling against the delicate skin just behind his ear, a little press of Suguru’s nose and lips that sends shivers up and down his spine at the intimacy of it.

“No.” Suguru responds in that long suffering way that means he’s going to listen to Satoru but he’s gonna be pissy about it first. “It’s, fucking, 7AM.” Suguru adds. Suguru is not a morning person. It’s why Satoru went and bought the fancy coffee Suguru likes and breakfast sandwiches and red bean buns. He had to go to the bakery across town to get those.
“It’s so important.” Satoru tells him.
“Your opening gambit at 7-fucking-AM was ‘say I’ve gotten into anal play lately, why do I leak cum before I cum?’” Suguru says with a glare.
“Yeah.” Satoru says.
Suguru glares even harder.
“Well, you could answer me at least.” Satoru huffs, crossing his arms over his chest.
“I hope you fall off a bridge and die.” Suguru tells him, but he’s unwrapping a breakfast sandwich and pulling the lid off one of the cups of coffee, so.
“I hope you do too.” Satoru says amicably, taking a seat. He pushes some napkins toward Suguru and switches out the breakfast sandwich. Suguru likes the ones with avocado better. “So why do I?”
