Summary

“Never have I ever slept with a human,” Sonic blurts, the insides of his ears flushed. Already drunk.
Everyone's quiet, nobody moves. Shadow reaches for a shot and drinks.
“No way! What the hell?” Sonic asks, slamming a hand onto the coffee table. “Dude, what do you get up to in your free time?”
Shadow narrows his eyes at Sonic. “That's none of your business, hedgehog.”
“Okay, well, never have I ever slept with a human in space.”
He grabs another shot, knocks it back without a flinch and then sets it down empty on the table, keeping eye contact with Sonic all the while. The others are dead silent around them.
[Something happened on the ARK. It happened. It just happened, that's all Shadow knows and he persists, and persists, and Sonic tries his best to figure out where it all went belly up.
