Er weiß, dass Adam auf ihn zukommt, aber er ist immer noch zu unscharf, die Welt zu verzerrt, und irgendwie ist da immer noch überall Blut. Immer noch? Vielleicht auch plötzlich. Aber es muss schon da gewesen sein, weil es jetzt überall klebt, an den Wänden, auf dem Boden, und vor allem an Leo.
An seinen Klamotten, seinem Gesicht, seinen Händen, nur nicht... Nur nicht an Adams offenen Armen, die sich ihm entgegenstrecken.
Leo befindet sich im freien Fall. Leider ist da niemand mehr, an dem er sich festhalten kann.

Summary
There was already something so sweetly cruel about living with the person you were hopelessly in love with and spending almost every waking moment with them.
Something about having to watch, but also getting to watch their everyday life, watching them work, eat, sleep, laugh, cry, and feeling yourself getting pulled closer and closer with every second of it, knowing you could never allow yourself to get close enough to actually touch the way you wanted to.
John Watson was a starving man, staring at a feast through a clear glass wall.
John is in love with Sherlock. For once in his life, Sherlock doesn't seem to have a clue.

They both looked up to find Blanc’s husband, Phillip, refilling their cups and placing another plate of cookies on the coffee table.
