“Oh, a friend of Seiji-kun’s? Please, sit, sit!” the owner smiled and ushered Shuuichi to sit down in the seat opposite of Seiji.
“How do you boys know each other? Do you go to the same class? Oh, but you do seem a bit older. Maybe you’re Seiji-kun’s senpai from the archery club, then?” she certainly didn’t mean anything bad by it, but Shuuichi still looked uncomfortable under her curious smile and chattering.
“He’s a family friend,” Seiji smiled, deciding to offer Shuuichi some help.
Seiji and Shuuichi run into each other in Seiji's usual coffee shop right before Shuuichi's first ever audition for an acting role.

She debates opening her eyes, but frankly, she’s not sure she wants to. She died. The Doctor abandoned her, and she died, and the prospect of having to spend another thirty-odd years scared and alone and surviving, knowing for certain that he’ll never come back, that he'll never choose her-
She’s startled out of her thoughts by a voice, whirring and laboured as though spoken over tape.
“If you’re waiting for me to reveal that you’re awake,” it says; “well, I should have thought you’d have learnt your lesson about waiting, Amelia Pond.”
Or, Amy Pond isn't the only companion the Doctor's left behind. And the Faction do so love a good paradox.

Summary
Seiji laughed. "Like you've never had a girlfriend."
"I haven't," Shuuichi said shortly.
"Never? You've never had a girlfriend?"
"No." Now he was starting to get annoyed. It wasn't like he hadn't had this exchange before, but for some reason he hadn't expected it from Seiji. "Why is that so shocking to you? Have you had a girlfriend?"
"No." Seiji smiled. "But you're different."
"Different how?" Shuuichi said defensively.
Still smiling, Seiji squinted up at the tree canopy. "Oh, you know, Shuuichi-san," he said. "You're really hot."

Summary
Seiji brings a hand up and hovers it by Shuuichi’s shoulder, pleased when the gecko reappears from Shuuichi’s back. He draws his hand up slowly, tracking the gecko as it trails along after his hand. Realistically, Seiji knows he could move faster, but he enjoys the way Shuuichi squirms a little, so he takes his time with it, fingers hovering just over the skin.
