Summary
“Louis.” Harry says again in the same low tone. “Come on.”
Once again, Louis wants to. But he can’t. It’s like his brain has fully stopped communicating with his body.
“Louis.” Harry says, his voice commanding and firm. “Come. On.”
This time it works, and Louis finds himself following Harry out of the room and back down the hallway.
It isn’t until they’re in the stairwell that he realizes why.
Harry used his alpha voice on him.
Suddenly Louis stops on the stairs.
“What the bloody hell’s wrong with you?”
Harry visibly winces, but when he turns around Louis can see the anger clear on the alpha’s perfect face.
“Do you think I wanted to do that?” Harry asks. “You were about to drop Louis.”

Summary
World-famous popstar Harry Styles is better known for his alleged body count than he is for his music. Hoping to change that, Harry moves to LA, where he finds a new management team, new record label, and, along with them, his first serious boyfriend. That's what he's supposed to tell everyone, anyway.
Louis Tomlinson is the best fake boyfriend Harry could ask for. His fans love him. His management team loves him. Harry, on the other hand, absolutely does not love him.
That's what he tells himself, at least.
Louis feels safe with Harry. Harry is sweet, supportive, and everything a real boyfriend should be. But Louis has learned that fantasy is better than reality, so he's more than happy to smile for the cameras and pretend.
At least that's what he says.

Harry's life seems to be going well. He has a great job working at Festive Furnishings, he has an amazing three year old son called Danny, and his favourite time of the year is approaching. Just as Harry thinks everything is finally going to plan, he finds out that he is going to be losing his home just before Christmas.
Louis Tomlinson is happy enough with his lot. He's the CEO of a company he started years ago, Festive Furnishings, he has great colleagues, especially his assistant Harry, and he has the best nephew in the world.
