She’s what? My neighbour’s niece. My neighbour’s niece who I enjoy knowing looks at me through my open curtains whenever possible. My friend, maybe. My friend who said yes when I asked her to come to my hockey game. She quirks her lips. “She’s a friend of mine.”

When Lan Qiren's very attractive niece comes to stay, Wei Ying probably should have tried harder to curb her accidental-on-purpose habit of getting changed with the curtains wide open.
