    Summary

Starting right after the end of "The Blue Crown", how can the Pogues get their happy ending when they've lost the heart of their group?

Lots of sneaking around, trusting Rafe, and grieving. Plus someone takes another long trip across the Atlantic - this time with a lot less alcohol and more introspection.

My take on what Season 5 should be.

The Pogues buried JJ and promptly made and executed a plan to follow Groff to Lisbon, and the last we left them they had just arrived in the country and were staying in an airbnb. Cleo and Sarah are determined to take care of others, John B and Pope are just really morose, Kiara is on a mad-so-im-not-crying trip to kill Groff, and Rafe is being oddly nice/supportive and seemingly looking out for Kiara.
JJ was never dead??? idk, he was found by a shepherd and his son, rescued, and is currently healing and on bed rest while being cared for by said shepherd. He seems to have self-reflected and recognised how destructive his behaviour was and how it affected the others, and seems determined to stand on his own to feet to find the others. He's now just recovering with the shepherd and his family and just deeply ruminating about his life and the pogues
The rest of the group + Rafe have found Groff and have ?set a trap in place to take him back to the US via plane to clear JJ's and Rafe's names

    Summary

Aang and Katara have been married for a year. At Aang's suggestion, they decide to spice up their love life with something called the Spirit Lovers' Ritual, an ancient ritual where they invite two mated spirits into themselves for an intimate experience. They decide to call upon the mated pair of the Blue Spirit and the Painted Lady. However, upon summoning the spirits, a problem with the ritual causes it to go wrong. While the Painted Lady ends up inside Katara, the Blue Spirit accidentally ends up stuck inside Zuko instead of Aang. And the only way to expel the spirits from them is by completing the ritual through consummation. With the spirits inside them drawn to each other, love and lust conflict and collide as Zuko and Katara are forced to face and give in to forbidden temptations while trying to maintain their loyalties.

Drama/Romance/Angst/Friendship/Spiritual/Supernatural/Hurt & Comfort. Pairings: Katara and Zuko, the Blue Spirit and Painted Lady, Katara and Aang, Sokka and Suki. Rated for explicit sex scene and themes of adultery.

I've finished this, honestly just curious if the author (who has 13 ATLA works currently) will write a story or follow up about the aftermath of this

    ––––––––––

This is a modern-day, no-bending AU where they're all university students. Some in-universe things have carried over in slightly altered ways – the nations still exist, and the Fire Nation still had the same colonial, violent history, and still decimated the Air Nation; Toph's still blind with a weirdly keen sense, is a rich kid and is distant from her parents though lives with them; Ozai is the head of a business empire and is abusive, Azula's a mentally-screwed victim of his; Ursa was still believed to be dead as a manipulation tactic, though here Zuko has found her 2 years hence, and she has a husband and Kiyi; Iroh's around and runs the Jasmine Dragon teashop; Katara and Zuko were trapped together, were vulnerable, and Zuko seemed to spit in the face of that some short time afterwards, so Katara starts this actively hating him; the gaang all hated Zuko but came to like him for various reasons after he disowned his family and began making reparations for how he acted while he was actively under Ozai's thumb; Gyatso is alive?? and living with Aang who takes care of him
Katara needs a roommate, Zuko needs a place to stay, she begrudgingly lets him stay but literally the day he moves in, a coronavirus 2 week lockdown is put in effect. They very (surprisingly) quickly get to a place of cordiality, and find that they pair well in terms of their living styles (Katara is the group mum still and is so used to taking care of everyone, but now that that pattern isn't possible, finds that she's terrible with self-care but will still clean the house. Lo and behold Zuko is a neat person and will often clean before she gets the chance to, and one day cooked for her when he realised how terrible her eating habits were). They're getting better at communicating and compromise, and understanding each other better.
Their relationship has developed expeditiously, and they're both willing and wanting to open up to each other about traumas and insecurities. They've said "I love you", agreed that they're officially a couple, though accidentally revealed it to the Gaang over zoom when they kissed unconsciously at Sokka's graduation.

    Summary

Emma Swan’s life was perfectly fine before she met him, she had her son (Excluding and a messy custody agreement with her ex.) She didn’t need her entire life to be uprooted when an annoyingly attractive man and his adorable young daughter moved in across the hall from her. But life happened anyway and maybe the only thing more annoying than Killian Jones might just be the feelings she’s trying to deny she has for him.

Now would also probably be a good time to mention the curse, because even in a post happy ending world, there’s always someone out to kill the saviour. But maybe this time… it’s not Emma they’re after.

    Or

Captain Swan, neighbours au. (which becomes a cursed au/post cannon at some point.) With the addition of Hope and Henry.

    ––––––––––

From what it seems based on very brief flashbacks, Emma, Killian, Henry and Hope were caught up in another curse caused by someone they both are familiar with but dreaded seeing again (and potentially shouldn't have been around), and the results of the curse are the basis of this fic: Emma is a single mother that has always been with 14yo Henry and is dealing with shitty-co-parent Neal, and she lives opposite Killian who's raising 3yo Hope on his own after her "mother" Milah ran out on them. The two family halves don't know each other but over the course of a few months they go from antagonistic neighbours (Emma, directed at Killian bc she's got her walls up) to friendly (the kids hang out with either parent and each other, group dinners and days out) to a semi-functioning seemingly-family unit (Killian is regularly looking after Henry, as Emma is doing with Hope, Hope calls Emma "mom", Henry has put Killian in father-esque roles and has expressed he wishes Killian were his dad). Now, Emma and Killian are beginning a relationship, much to the chagrin of Liam (who is in this story as a fairly overbearing self-righteous-ish older brother to Killian, and doesn't approve of Emma).
They've had just one proper date that ended in taking care of Hope, have graduated to staying the night together on purpose, have exchanged "I love you"s which led to their first time, and have decided to tell the kids they're together (though Henry had thought they'd been together for about 3-4 months, despite only being together for 1 month

    Summary

Henry let out a deep breath, turning up the volume a little bit and tried even harder to sleep.

That's what must have happened because when he opened his eyes again, the car had come to a stop. They were off the highway, on a small road out in the middle of nowhere and Henry blinked, trying to see more in the darkness of night.

But the only thing he could see was his mom and Killian, standing outside in front of the headlights, surrounded by a forest in the background.

It looked like they were arguing.

Henry almost got out, but then something strange happened.

Emma, his mom, who always carried so much tension in her shoulders, never let down her guard, never let anyone see her cry, began crying.

That wasn't the strange thing though.

It was when Killian pulled her into a hug.

    Chpt 16

    —————

In this version of events, yes, Emma get a memory back, yes, she, Henry and Killian travel to where Storybrooke is to try to find it, but they don’t! Nothing’s there
In this version of events, they spent a while trying to find it, and Henry gets more and more suspicious, that Killian is Baelfire, i.e. his dad, and hates him, but slowly comes around to him
Killian has been living with Emma and Henry for, I actually don’t know how long, and slowly bonding with both of them.
Killian is also trying to convince Emma to try to find Storybrooke and her parents again, but she believes that Henry is safer bnb in New York, the typical “I don’t want to be the saviour and be in danger“
Henry is actually on the path to remembering, because he gets flashbacks and dreams about actual events, and has actually found the book, but has a weird sixth sense where he knows once he touches the book, everything will change, so he doesn’t want to, and is actively avoiding it.
Emma has slowly been opening up to Killian, and has admitted she didn’t want to start anything with him in case she used it as a reason to not look for Storybrooke, but she reassured her that he would do everything he could (even not pursue her) to find her family, and they end up going out (Henry approves. He also knows that they’re definitely lying about their whole situation, but is waiting for Emma to tell him what’s going on)
Later Henry sleepwalks to a table and writes “Regina Mills” over and over again, which Killian sees. Killian asks him questions to try to trigger any memories, but it backfires when Henry asks Killian "hypothetical" questions about Emma giving him up to keep him safe, and whether that was what Killian helped Emma with
This pattern continues, of Henry sleepwalking occasionally and being confused, but the way Emma's adjusting to the fake memories and the fragility of their life in NY makes both Killian and Henry hesitant to tell her about it, Killian as well because he can tell Emma's reluctant to try to find Storybrooke due to the danger it always poses to Henry, This feeling, and the feeling Emma has that she's failing Henry, is exacerbated by the fact that she's now pregnant (she's happy about it, as is Killian, just nervous)
Killian and Emma are getting more serious, and the three of them are becoming more of a family unit, but it's just threatened by the looming spectre of where Storybrooke is, and the need to find it, particularly as the latest sleepwalking session has Henry writing "Regina Mills", "Storybrooke", and finally "Come home" (Killian's starting to think this is Regina or someone else actively reaching out to them), so they're grappling with the idea of telling Henry about the forgotten memories and trying to find Storybrooke (and a freak snowstorm centred in Maine indicates it may be back), or continuing to live their lives as is. Killian is also not telling Emma about what’s going on with Henry at Henry’s behest because he knows it’ll change things (valid, bc Emma’s magic is coming back), though is very insistent on it.
Killian and Emma are as strong as ever: she was the first to say “I love you”; she’s been more open emotionally, and admitted she felt a bit unsure about if he was staying/in it fr, and he was quick to reassure her; she found out he traded his ship for her.
After the conversation about the ship trading, Killian looked a bit closer at the ship-in-a-bottle that Henry got for him and realised it looked actually identical to the Jolly Roger, which led to the discovery that the pawn shop Henry got it from was of course Gold’s shop, he was in there, and remembers Killian
