But Tommy’s been looking for it all week, so, as if magnetized, Tommy still lifts his pained head upward.

8/10☆ Not some amazing story that slow builds or anything, but the miscommunication kinda hits close to home? It was decently written and the conclusion was satisfying, the sad parts were actually saddening for me and the action was well foreshadowed.

Summary
Not to brag, but Techno's a pretty great mechanic. And not just because his human hands have multiple dexterousness fingers. His skills have gotten him pretty far in the universe. Further than most humans can ever make it.
Almost literally, since humans can't survive faster than light travel.
With the near infinity of space, that little biological fact limits the mobility of their entire species. But, as humans tend to do, they have spent all their experience points on brains over functional bodies. Thus, a solution was created: cryopods.
Cryosleep makes it possible for Techno to travel through space, and his skills make it actually worthwhile for a ship's crew to even bother with him. It's going pretty well, all things considered. If only his body realized how critical it was not to get oh-so sleepy and achy after being frozen alive and thawed out. It really throws a wrench in his productivity.

Techno is a human on a mixed species spaceship with Phil, Wilbur, and Tommy. All four crew members contend with the effects of popsicle-ification. Thawing procedure is most optimal with shared body heat, copious fur petting, and sugary offerings.

9/10☆ Good pacing and decent humor, the wording in this scratches the brain really nicely. The constant kindness and slow build from trying to be professional to mother henning the heck out of the human was nice, especially since communication wasn't excluded like most fics.
Wish there was more chapters honestly, that might be it's biggest flaw that there isn't more to enjoy.

Summary
Techno slammed his fists against the transparent wall of his prison, trying his best to break it down. His captors backed up, whistling anxiously to each other.
He gave the barrier another loud crack, delightedly watching as they scrambled away in abject terror.
Nodding in satisfaction, he turned around to meet the eyes of two other prisoners that had been thrown into his cell.
He froze.
Right.
There were now aliens in his cell.
And he probably just scared the hell out of them.
Or: Humans are a dangerous race feared by all on an intergalactic scale. Techno, a human ex-soldier that was abducted by aliens 18 months ago, is biding his time in captivity.
This changes when two young aliens are sent into his cell to die.

5/10☆ cute plot, not super story heavy and more light with many wholesome moments. Didn't get into much trauma nor miscommunication tropes, conflicts ending with no negative consequences.

It was honestly Graves' fault.
Not that you'd admit that to him, the man's ego was insufferable enough without adding fuel to the fire. But the chain of events that led to... well, everything that came after, started with him and his inability to keep his goddamn mouth shut.
Or, in which, Task Force 141 are the most competitive bastards in the military. Marksmanship, mission times, push ups... everything's a contest.

9/10☆ not super long or plot heavy but its a darling read. The personality of each person just pops out and makes you crave more, and the humor is a little pushy but still fits well enough it actually pulls you in. The description of whats happening scritches my brain near perfectly.

b) make sure his favorite love interest wins the protagonist's heart;
Because that's what heroes do—mess everything up and accidentally capture the heart of a fucking demon king.

8/10☆ A story that started good and stayed strong to the end. The plot wasn't really deep and there was no spicy scenes, so it was more comedic and fluffy. Even so, its very true to character and pretty relatable as Kim dokja tends to be.
