For crazy reasons revolving around Clary and her friends, where the Clary from another dimension had come to theirs, he knew now that his alternate self was indeed still a magician. And then there was Alexander Lightwood. The young man whose party Magnus had found himself attending uninvited during the events regarding the other universe. The young man who for whatever reason seeked out his attention ever since. Not knowing what to do with all this attention Magnus felt quite lost. After taking in A-Yuan as his adoptive son, it was both a blessing and a curse, as in Wei Ying thrived in the irregular sleep patterns of a toddler, the sudden changes in moods and whims (to be fair, A-Yuan had very little of those but he was a toddler nonetheless), but having regular nap times on the other hand helped both of them. And were kind of mandatory in the process of the adoption because what else did an adoption agency of the government cherish? Right, normalcy, routine, a schedule. But for A-Yuan, Wei Ying endured it effortlessly.
Until his 30th birthday. The day everything changed. (For the better, but that was only known to future-Wei Ying; present-Wei Ying was very much in a panic.)
When he bumped into a person, trying to rush through the gate, Wei Ying’s inner voice changed into some baritone voice he had never heard before and his “thoughts” were suddenly very interested in getting to this quarterly meeting on time. “Here,” Nanako says, thrusting the bag at Satoru. “Take these.”
Satoru blinks, cautiously tugging it open. He reaches a hand inside, closes his fingers around what feels like a small, rectangular box - only to make a very, very ugly noise when he pulls it out and finds a pregnancy test sitting in his hand.
“No,” he chokes out, pushing it away. “No, I can’t - that’s not what this is.”
“Satoru,” Suguru breathes. “Baby.”
“I’m not pregnant, Suguru. I’m not -”
“You’ve woken up nauseous more than once these past couple weeks,” Suguru points out.
Satoru squeezes his eyes shut, swallows. “So?”
“It’s been two months since your last heat. You’ve been nauseous, your stomach’s been upset, and just last night, you told me that your chest felt sore. You’re having all the early symptoms of pregnancy, and now you’re eating apples?”
Or, Satoru Gojo finally gets the family he’s always wanted.

Satoru gawked at Getou as he was seized by humiliation twice as violently as before, this time curling around his throat and causing what was supposed to be a bark of laughter to come out his mouth in the form of an embarrassing squawk.
