Summary

It was just a simple question: "Why are these spoons different?"
The Manager had no clue; neither did Ruri. She felt like she should, since she heard somewhere that high-end restaurants use different spoons for different dishes, but she wasn't a high end girl, and in her two weeks of working at the Tasokare Hotel, she'd learned pretty quickly that the Manager's high class standards were a lot flimsier than he'd like you to believe. She wanted to do what was proper, but if neither of them knew, then what could they do? The only way to find out would be trial and error until someone that did know inevitably got mad at them for not knowing.
She wasn't expecting that someone to show up the very same day. She wasn't expecting him to be nice about it either.

“Nightwing isn’t here,” the boy all but growled. “Todd, I suggest you end whatever game you’re playing before I make you regret it. Where am I and what did you do to me?”

Another simple fact: there are other people he loves as well, though he shows them his affection a little differently. Coda doesn't necessarily appreciate Erin's tactics.

No one had touched Bart Allen until he was twelve years old. Well- that wasn’t quite true. His mother had touched him, surely, and it made sense that the Dominators had since they had kidnapped him. The lab technicians had definitely touched him in the process of hooking him into the machines. But that was so long ago, and he couldn’t remember any of it. Maybe none of it was even real.
The first few moments of Bart’s rebirth were cold. The wires dropped from his head, un-inserting themselves like limp spaghetti noodles. The blinding white of the Earthgov lab blared suddenly across his vision, replacing the green countryside he’d been in just seconds before. Bart had crumpled, a marionette without his strings, curling in on himself on the floor of the tank.

The sensation was so jarring that he shot up to his feet from—from wherever he was, panting and in a cold sweat, as he fought down the sudden nausea of his own twisting insides.
And then, just as suddenly, the pain and confusion ended, and he was left blinking at his unfamiliar surroundings.
Or no, they weren’t unfamiliar. Not unfamiliar at all. In fact, he knew them too well. In a way which should not be possible.
He was back….home. In his Aunt and Uncles’ farm on Tatooine.
