Hubert licked his lips, just the slightest movement of pink tongue sliding over his bottom lip. “That is a compelling argument,” he said, voice very low. “Ferdinand von Aegir, entirely at my disposal.”
“For a month,” repeated Ferdinand, because it was better than moaning aloud at the thought of what being at Hubert’s disposal meant.
“A month, of course.” Hubert looked down at the way his hands were tight on the desk. Ferdinand watched as he very consciously relaxed his grip. “Very well.”
Hubert and Ferdinand come to an agreement.

Summary
Hubert is not avoiding Ferdinand—nothing so gauche as that. He has simply been giving him space. He knows well that a man like Ferdinand cannot be expected to recover from killing his father so brutally in only a few days, and he knows equally well that he is the last person Ferdinand will want to speak to in the depths of his grief. His castigation of Hubert’s actions with regard to his own father is still far too clear in Hubert’s mind for that.
Hubert and Ferdinand are trying to navigate the shift in their relationship caused by Ferdinand's father's death when Ferdinand is kidnapped by TWSITD. What will be left when the dust settles? Can Hubert put aside his duty to Edelgard enough to make space for this growing new love?
Set directly after 3hopes SB chapter 13, spoilers for that chapter and Ferdinand and Shez A support (as well as references to various other supports)

Summary
Escaping the ship that dreadful night had seemed impossible, especially together, but after coming out of their warped state of mind - Joe and Charlie must survive being stranded on an island in the middle of nowhere with only each other to keep themselves sane. It's easier said than done as they come to terms with the truth they had hidden from each other for all those years in the army.
One thing was for certain - they would always have those forgotten shores to call their own.
