Summary
Robin and Marian knew each other only slightly as undergraduates. He was two years older than her, and they ran in different circles: she worked at the library and the writing center and edited the literary magazine; he was engrossed (athletically and socially) with the varsity cross country and track teams. No one was ever quite sure how and when he did his work, let alone how he managed to make dean’s list every semester.
She had heard friends and professors talk about him here and there. To her, other than that ever-present hoodie, he was just another of those interchangeable, vaguely jockish older boys that stumble in and out of class in a haze of sweatpants and unearned self-assurance.
Then, one day, during the Later Plays of Shakespeare, they disagreed about how to interpret Ophelia’s death, and everything changed.

Yoongi, unlike the majority of witches who run afoul of Namjoon's binding spell, seems to find it funny. “It was my fault for forgetting. I meant to return it.”
He hands the book over. Namjoon can’t help but notice a number of dogeared pages that weren’t folded before, and even – he lets the book flip open – handwritten marginalia. In a library book.
Incredibly, his first impulse is to sit down and reread it cover to cover, all of Yoongi’s notes included, and perhaps write some of his own notes back. In a library book! At the very least, Yoongi should be reprimanded, but somehow Namjoon can’t bring himself to want to.

Yoongi leans close, closer, their mouths nearly fucking touching. Namjoon’s fingers dig in-between the gaps of Yoongi’s ribs. “Suran can’t come,” he repeats, loud, breath ghosting over Namjoon’s skin, heavy with spicy whiskey and cigarette smoke. “Too late.”
Namjoon leans even closer, and this time there’s no where else to go; their lips are officially touching. “Sucks,” Namjoon slurs. And before his useless fucking brain can decide what to do about this sudden development, Yoongi appears to have a better handle on reality than he does, because Yoongi’s kissing him, little puckers of his lips against Namjoon’s that would make smacking sounds if the club wasn’t so god damn loud.
He lets Yoongi do it. The hand over Yoongi’s ribs rub down to his hips, then up again, over and over, unable to be seen since it’s happening underneath his jacket. Adrenaline and pure joy seems to be affecting both of them, not just Namjoon; they’ve never experienced this level of success in the past four years of building a cheap excuse of a career.
