Peace was never meant to be easy.

The wars have ended and a peace has settled over middle Earth. The trio are sent out to seek out and banish any remaining stewards of darkness, this follows one of their less successful missions.

After Kirk and Spock finally--FINALLY--realize they're in love with each other, they don't waste any time in being together. Of course, the Five Year Mission is set to end in only a couple days, so they have to decide what they're going to do when they get back to Earth. An opportunity presents itself to visit Kirk's parents in Iowa, and, well, if they whole crew decides to come along too, what could be the harm in that?
The crew being ridiculous, Spirk being adorable, everyone being friends, and the plot to TMP being overwritten.
