Dazai turned slowly, black-shunted irises staring up at him. He hesitated, then looked away.
“Don’t do that,” he whispered.
“Do what?”
“Pitying me.”
Chuuya swallowed, the weight on his chest nearly painful. He steadied himself and cupped Dazai’s flushed cheek, thumb brushing slow, grounding circles.
“It’s not… pity,” he replied quietly.

Kunikida's eyes snapped to Dazai, demanding an explanation. “How the hell did you do this?” he hissed.
Dazai put his hands in the air, his attempt of surrendering invaded by the smug grin on his face. “I didn't do anything. Chuuya agreed with his very own free will.”
“You totally manipulated me into this,” Chuuya deadpanned.
“That was seduction, not manipulation! There's a very big difference, you know.”
“You tried to seduce the Mafia Boss?!” Kunikida yelled out, his face turning visibly pale. Dazai turned to him with an innocent expression, pretending not to see anything wrong with it.
He crossed his arms and feigned offence. “I didn't try, I successfully did. You're underestimating my skills, Kunikida.”
