James threw out his anchor, the boat rocking as the cast-iron steel fell. He hadn’t sailed out in years, but his mind barely skipped a beat. He rifled through his tackle box- his father’s, and also something he hadn’t touched in years- thankful he’d left behind enough hooks and lures. The water was making him sick. The sludge gathering in the hull and around his boots could’ve made him gag. But he’d been called upon to make an expedition, as Robert called it, to the Chukchi sea.
