Jiang Cheng was a self aware man. A life of retribution and sufferings taught him the world did not revolve around him. It revolved around his adopted brother, Wei Wuxian. Past Jiang Cheng thought he could continue living his willful life, bullying the weak and...bullying the strong with his family's strength. But This Jiang Cheng has seen it, done it, has eaten that cake. This time around, he just aspires to stay under the radar, never mess with the children of destiny no matter what it costs him, marry a cute girl home and give up on trying to get his family's affection. From a disgraceful unruly wastrel, he'll become a good child: No expectations, no complaints, no want for love. He'll survive.

Jin Zixuan had a (mostly) simple and smooth sailing life….no scratch that. He definitely would not call his life simple or smooth. Which, kind of happens when you have a father who just can’t look at a beautiful woman and keep his pants on. Which in turn results in a new half sibling appearing every other week.
