After some thought I've come to the conclusion that is is without a doubt my #1 favorite fic from this fandom.
I don't even know where to begin with the praising?
The characterization? Fantastic. The way they handled the friendships? Amazing. The storyline? Stellar. The relationship development itself? Absolutely incredible.There is so much to love on this fic. It's one that is deeply relatable to me as I'm going through the same process Haru is going through in it. That of figuring things out. I love the way this fic explores Haru taking a different route from the anime. Going on his own pace and experiencing a variety of things and leaving it open ended. Will he go back to competitive swimming? Will he dedicate himself to coaching kids? Will he do something else? Up to him. It's excellent.
GOD I LOVE this FIC
Honestly I want to learn bookbinding so I can put it on my shelf.
