Summary
There was more to the girl that met the eye. There was power that was buried into the unknown, only to awake when entering enemy soil.
The empress was a quiet woman, calm and mild. Only spoke when spoken too. Her actions are superior to no other, which makes her highly civilized. You vowed that you would protect her and her daughter by any means necessary, even if you had to kill the emperor to do so.
There's an unexpected arranged marriage when the daughter turned of age. Right after her birthday, the Vyka empire demanded to have his son marry the Criven Empires first daughter. This causes occuring nightmares for the Criven empire.
The Vyka are cruel, and named themselves Curses. Everything in that place is corrupt, demonized. Rumors say, that they practice sorcery in that place. Sorcery has been strictly forbidden throughout the nations, but they denied. Now, the are outcasts, but have the most powerful force to destroy anything in their way.
With disagreements about the arrangement, there's no way in hell you would allow the princess to marry such a man.

Ghost knows to keep his head on straight, even when he's assigned to question her, to test her loyalty.
He's the one that gets tested when he discovers that no mask could hide him from her.Her connections are dangerous. His enemies want her. All she wants is to live again.
Cartel related storyline, soft Simon, soft female OC. Other characters make important appearances. Not historically or Call of Dutily accurate, although I tried my best.
Shamelessly slow burn. 'Eventual smut' is my favorite tag.
CW: Allusion to sexual assault, allusion to abuse, plenty of trauma
