satoru pretended her words did not hurt, as if they had not gone straight to his heart. instead he propped himself up in the chair, now sitting straight as he stared at her. "big words for someone who abandoned her family."
mizuki's body froze, her stomach dropping as his words sunk in, rooting themselves into her mind. "abandoned my family? are you fucking kidding me, satoru?" she spat bitterly, her eyes narrowing. "you took them from me!"

in which fushiguro mizuki gets launched headfirst back into the very world she had left years ago and back into the arms of the very man, whom she hates more than life itself.
