"hop on," gunwook offers, holding his hands up like it's nothing.
"aren't i supposed to go on your back?" taerae laughs, a bit incredulous, already eyeing gunwook's shoulders.
and well. yeah. that's the usual way. more practical. more... hero protocol. but this is taerae. taerae, who once clung to him during mid-air loops and who used to bury his face in his neck just for warmth. his taerae.
"no, you come... here." gunwook mumbles, almost shyly, and before taerae can question him again, he sweeps him up off the ground, arms tucked under his legs and back like they're starring in some fever dream drama.
or alternatively: gunwook asks dr strange to erase all memories of him as spider-man to keep everyone he loves safe, including taerae. the spell works, but taerae claims to feel something's missing, he gets caught up in the web of feelings and unknowingly starts searching for the love he doesn’t even remember losing.
