Summary
The Doctor is now determined to leave, his feet finally ungluing from the floor, but just as he's about to take the first step to turn around and flee, the Master's voice comes out louder and clearer, stopping him in his tracks.
“You can come in, Doctor.”
The Doctor blinks, but other than that he doesn't move, not even an inch.
“I know you're there. There's no point in hiding.”
Another faint blush blooms on the Doctor's face. Well, so much for leaving without the Master finding out he was ever there.
The Doctor catches the Master masturbating in his room. The Master puts on a show for him.

Summary
But his dreams are a different story. In the realm of dreams, he's trapped inside his head with his guilt and his grief, his mind like a haunted house awakening. War and desolation is all he sees, as though he were going through a collection of dreadful postcards from places he never wants to return to.
When the Doctor closes his eyes, he relives it all again.
The Doctor often has nightmares about the Time War, but this time he doesn't have to face those nightmares alone.

Summary
I've seen this expression before. The Doctor has been wearing it a lot lately ever since he started travelling on his own. [...] He's now looking around the empty medical bay with that same expression, as if looking for someone, anyone that would keep him company. The fingers of his free hand twitch slightly, not because of the pain or the remnants of the poison in his bloodstream, but because of the longing for a hand to hold.
It's in moments like these when I wish I could hold him.
The Doctor gets injured and the TARDIS watches over him as he patches himself up.

Summary
“I was thinking, since we have this equipment and you are already open, we should take advantage of the situation. I mean, when would we have an opportunity like this?”
The Doctor frowns, his face contorting into a grimace. He doesn't like the sound of anything that's coming out of the Master's mouth.
“An opportunity for what?!” The Doctor's nerves are spiking, his fear merging with bewilderment.
Wetting his lips and smiling, the Master meets the Doctor's eyes and replies, “To see what you're made of.”
During one of their trips, the Doctor gets kidnapped and vivisected. The Master finds him and sees an opportunity in the Doctor's misfortune.

Summary
Lying close together like this brings back memories of Gallifrey, of the two of them lying on the fields of red grass of their home planet, sharing sweets and laughs and furtive caresses under the burnt orange sky.
On a quiet day aboard the TARDIS, sweets, caresses and memories are shared.

Summary
“No. No, you're right. You don't want to see the universe – you want to own it,” the Doctor begins, his tone uncharacteristically cold and distant. The glimmer of hope is long gone, replaced by something else, something sharper. There is a sudden spark in his eyes defying the light-consuming abyss of his gaze. “And we could. Own it, I mean.”
The Doctor uses his artron energy to fix the Master's unstable regeneration and prevent his own regeneration in the process. The Master is not too happy about this, but the Doctor has an enticing plan in mind.

Summary
He has the Doctor exactly where he wants him, and as he tightens his grip around his throat, he can almost feel the anticipatory tingle of artron energy tickling his fingertips. He is so close. Closer than he has ever been before. With the Doctor's life in his hands, he only has to squeeze a bit harder. Just a bit harder.
As the drumming inside the Master's head worsens, old and new wounds reopen.

Summary
The Doctor has postponed sleeping for a little too long, and decides to take a long nap. The Master is sure he'll be fine on his own (he's wrong).

Summary
“Still… I'm sure y-you'd rather be stuck with any Time Lord other than me,” the Master replies.
There is the beginning of a smile forming on the Doctor's lips as he shakes his head, and a faint glimmer in his eyes that could be easily mistaken by the tears gathering there, but that in reality is caused by something else – or rather a collection of somethings; memories of a childhood shared and promises made.
“There's no one else I'd rather be with right now.”
The Doctor takes care of the Master after he gets gravely injured during one of their trips, and their relationship grows as they end up taking care of each other.

Summary
The ache is growing exponentially, hot, throbbing pain expanding like a flame to every nerve and muscle in the Doctor's body, and for some reason the worst of it is concentrating in his groin. “This isn't happening.”
“Oh, it is. If you don't want to have the most embarrassing regeneration of your life, that is.” The Master is beginning to have fun with this, and he doesn't hide his grin anymore.
After being exposed to the pollen of an unidentified flower, the Doctor finds himself in an uncomfortable situation with the Master.

Summary
This is the right thing to do. How could he stand aside, hearing the screams of people reverberating in his ears, shattering his hearts as they lose their lives one by one? How could he leave them to die by his own inaction, when he has the power to turn the current of time and change the outcome?

Summary
Crowley goes over the events over and over in his head, the conversation repeating itself like a broken record on a loop. He searches for clues, anything that would make him understand, anything that would give him hope. But there is nothing. Nothing to grab onto like a lifeline. Just two scared beings with very different goals. Two celestial bodies trapped in a perpetual orbit around each other, unable to get close enough, always doomed to gravitate away from one another.
Falling from memory to dream to nightmare, Crowley sleeps unaware of the passage of time. The world keeps moving without him, and his flat in Mayfair becomes his tomb.
Overcome by his sorrow after parting ways with Aziraphale, Crowley takes a long nap. Aziraphale finds him a year later.

Summary
Before he had entered the kitchen, Aziraphale had spent about a quarter of an hour pacing around the living room, book still in his hands with his fingers drumming on the back cover. He couldn't continue reading, not when his whole body was igniting with a barely contained desire, and the image of a certain demon invading his every thought.
“Ah, not quite. I still have a bit to go, but…” Aziraphale trails off. He lowers his gaze sheepishly and bites his lower lip. If Crowley didn't know any better, he would think Aziraphale looks almost innocent. “I just got to this… rather heated part, you see.”
“And you got horny,” Crowley states, his smile widening.
Aziraphale reads a book that puts some thoughts in his mind, and Crowley is happy to help.

Summary
“You're doing so well, my dear. I know you're trying your best, and I'm so very proud of you.”
Aziraphale was doing that thing where he talked about the plants as if he were talking about someone else. Or more precisely, he was talking to the plants as if he were talking to someone else, and Crowley had a pretty good idea of who that someone else was.
Watching Aziraphale taking care of his plants unearths some buried emotions in Crowley.

Summary
“Crawly, I think I will accept that drink now,” Aziraphale said with a smile on his face that didn't quite reach his eyes. “Isn't that what humans do? Drink when they're feeling sad?”
Aziraphale and Crawly get drunk, things get a bit out of hand, and they come to some realisations about the nature of their partnership.
