Summary
When Simon wakes up, the submarine isn’t the only thing he’s been welded into.
The back of his neck aches. He reaches up and touches it, finds cool metal leading to warm wires instead of rough but untouched skin. For a moment he forgets about the terms of his service to the general collective, the port they insisted was necessary to steer the SM-13, the goddamn irrevocable surgical procedure. His breath catches in his throat; his fingers stay very still. Then he remembers. He agreed to this.
In order to pilot the SM-13, the Consolidation of Iron installs a port in the back of Simon's neck to connect him directly to the ship. It has some side effects.

Summary
“Does it feel good?”
His eyes narrow slightly. Declan scrapes their claws down his side, tightens that grasp into leverage. They lean far forward, until they can twist and take his ear in their teeth, tug. “Cold reactor,” they chastise, fond. “‘M not a mind reader.”
10 snorts. He can feel their grin as they duck their head lower, working around the horns, trailing kisses down the line of his neck. “Liar.”
Two moments of strange intimacy stolen after escaping an underground fighting ring.

Summary
It would be so much simpler, so much easier, if tearing HEAVEN out of it had torn the desire from its chest, too: the violence, the heat, separated as cleanly as the explosives were from its chest cavity. But the fantasies consume its every waking moment, only worsened by its unsuccessful attempts to fill them, the kick of the rifle in its hand as it moved to kill one of HEAVEN’s agents who dared to try taking its shot. When it closes its eyes, it sees Declan’s face in perfect clarity, the way his head jerked to meet its eyes and not the falling body, the inscrutable smile on his face as the tension drained from his shoulders. The bloodlust rises in its throat until it tears its hand away for fear of lashing out, waking him.
A robotic clone built to kill its original finds itself obsessed with him in all the worst ways.

Summary
“I don’t feel better,” she says, eyes fixed on the garden. She could’ve taken better care of it, figured out all the machines Chujin used to keep the Dunes from encroaching again, watered the flowers and pruned the dead branches. She wouldn’t know where to start, now. Chujin never taught her. She never asked. It’d never be the same, even if he did. “I wish he’d never left me that damn message.”
The minute it escapes, Ceroba wants to take it back, but she can’t. Star takes the beer from her hands as the aluminum crumples in her claws. She lets him, her head bowed and her shoulders shaking. “He knew me. He knew me, didn’t he? And he still- and he still… what’d he think I could do? That he couldn’t? That the finest minds of monsterkind couldn’t?”
“I don’t think we’ll ever know,” Star says, quietly.
(In the months and years after Clover's sacrifice, Ceroba Ketsukane finds her tomorrows.)

Several dimensions away Izuku Midoriya woke up with skills he didn’t remember learning, memories that definitely weren’t his, and half an answer to the question that had plagued him all his life: can someone without a Quirk be a hero?

Summary
Things… change.
Ghost supposes that many would probably say that they get better. They do get better, don’t they? Yes, they do. Things change, and they are better. The Infection is gone, and Hollow is safe, and Hornet is happy, and so Ghost is fine. Perhaps they are selfish, and they mourn a dying world that they can never return to, and they are more alone than ever before, but they’ll get over it.
…And it’s not as if anyone will notice if they don’t.
Ghost goes back in time, kills the Radiance, and sets everything right. They tell no one, and do it on their own. It is only after their family is happy, and the kingdom is safe, and the Abyss is soothed to sleep, that they realize just how lonely it is as the last remaining piece of a future never to be.
