Summary
Prince Neuvillette is the heir of Fontaine and a mated omega who was accidentally marked by an alpha when he was a young child. With no recollection of his past nor the alpha who bit him, Neuvillette is forced into a dire situation when the King no longer saw him as the heir to the throne and confines him within the palace walls, never to be seen again.
Just when all hope is lost, Neuvillette smells a mysterious yet nostalgic scent right in the middle of his own garden, bringing back a long-forgotten alliance that was never really gone.
Neuvillette can no longer think nor speak, the overpowering scent igniting all his senses on fire and setting them ablaze until he is so overwhelmed that he fully collapses onto the grass in pained gasps, his mouth gaping wide open as razor-sharp canines begin to emerge from his swollen gums.
Conjuring up all his strength and willpower, Neuvillette leans up to whisper the one single word that his delirious brain can still muster.

Halfway through the monologue, Wriothesley had to pause to keep himself from spitting out the rest of his tea. He put his cup down as calmly as he could, fighting for his damn life to rein his confusion into order. Said, measuredly, to the man sitting across his table, “Hang on. Sorry. Uh, what custom?”
The dragon clarified: “You have saved my life, and kept my shedded scales. By the immutable laws of the ocean, we are now mated.”
