“You look tired,” Rhaenyra said.
Alicent could not suppress a snort in time. “I was just sick, if you recall,” she said.
“I mean in general. You look… bone weary. You've looked like this for a while.”
Alicent let out a laugh that sounded like a sigh.
“I've been told I seem to be glowing from happiness,” she replied wryly.
Rhaenyra paused and looked intently at Alicent. “Are you?”
“Am I what?,” came Alicent's clipped answer. She felt a familiar itch at her fingernails, and resisted the urge to hide her hands under her skirt.
“Happy,” Rhaenyra did not look away from her face. “Are you happy about getting married?”
“Any maiden would naturally be happy to be getting married,” Alicent smiled and tried not to choke on the words. She hoped Rhaenyra would realize she was uncomfortable and stop pressing the issue. It was not Rhaenyra's nature to be merciful, however.
“But are you happy, Alicent?” she asked once again. Alicent could not remember when was the last time she had heard the Princess speak her name.

A deep dive into Byleth and Rhea's relationship where Byleth is very much aware of Rhea's plans for her and is more than willing to become the vessel for Sothis, thus confusing the hell out of Rhea as she tries to come to terms with her feelings towards the very much adored professor of the Officer's Academy. The Black Eagles students make their professor's life harder by being their loving, goofy selves as Byleth is in the midst of hanging by a thread above the pit of mommy issues to make Rhea happy.
This follows the events of the game up until the five-year time skip, but Rhea is much more involved in Byleth's business. There's Edeleth if you squint, but it's unrequited (sorry).

It was strange. He had never touched her before. He had never paid any real attention to her at all. She had seen his probing gaze directed at her father, at her uncle, at Alicent, but never at her. Somehow, it’s different when it comes to Alicent. Everything is way more difficult when it comes to Alicent. Rhaenyra doesn’t want to be the first one to give in. That’s too typical, painfully to-the-point and not quite like the beloved calculated games they have been playing for years. She wants Alicent to teeter over and over again, and finally fold.
Rhaenyra decided it. She’s going to make Alicent think of her all the time. She wants to drive that woman insane. By the time the month ends, Alicent won’t be able to want anything more than her. She is going to kneel at her feet.
(Or; where all Rhaenyra wants is for Alicent to confess her feelings for her, and maybe fuck her along the way. She just needs to give Alicent a little push to make it happen.)
