Summary
Todd Anderson transfers to Welton Academy in his junior year, where he is roommates with the extroverted Neil Perry, who brings light to every person he meets. As the year goes along, their friendship blossoms into something that cannot quite be described. But, when Neil's happiness turns out to be his hamartia, Todd is left heartbroken and alone.

House just laughed like a maniac. Wilson clicked his tongue, not bothering to hide his chuckle. At the time he thought his friend's joke was funny. Now, it just felt like an omen of some sort.

Summary
Neil tries to run out but the once wide, open door is replaced by a wall of person. His full body slams into this stranger because of how fast he was moving and how little he was paying attention, which winds up with them both on the floor. Neil recovers quickly and is on his feet in a split second. The distractingly attractive stranger with dirty blonde hair and striking blue eyes looks incredibly disoriented, and reasonably so, as to why they are on the floor.
Or What starts as a chance meeting due to the chaos of Neil Perry leads to the development of relationships that leave them wondering how they ever survived without the other before.
