    “What?” Levi said.

    “She’s not from here.”

    “From where? Maria? She got out Rose?” Levi’s voice was rough and sharp, insisting on clarity.

    “No,” Hanji said slowly, “I don’t think she’s from the Walls at all.”

    They stared at her, then her eyes squeezed a little before blinking open and wincing at the brightness of daylight.
