Hawks was lying on the floor of his living room with a puddle of his own drool when he had been playing with his hair and accidentally pulled out some of his hair and stray baby feathers. Deliriously, Hawks muttered, “Pull out your crest feathers, Hawks. Heroes don’t have those. Why am I not allowed to have my own hair? Why can't I have my crest?”
“MUST I BE BALD?!” He sat up violently, only to topple back down.

The only answer Damian got was an amused grin. “Tt very well. I would like to gather some intel from you about a tradition about passing on the cape among Robins.”
“Aww I’m flattered you asked. I can’t really say much though because it varies between each Robin. Like how train hopping was Jason’s and my thing and how… being public menaces is Tim’s and Jason’s.” Dick grimaced at the last one.
It was easy to see the gears turning in the younger’s head as he hummed thoughtfully. “I see. So the only requirement for the mantle passing experience is to create an exclusive bond with one another.”
AKA the sequel to where Damian tries to bond with Tim solely to get Robin but ends up with something else instead.

Tim let out a terribly muffled scream as he was thrown back onto the floor, rattling his broken bones. With tears streaming down his face, Tim tried to crawl away from the Red Hood, his hero, his Robin.
“What’s the matter, Replacement? I thought you wanted to be Robin,” the dead boy snarled, stalking forward with Tim’s bloody staff in hand.
He tensed, bracing for impact, as Hood raised the staff to hit him away when they both froze at a noise. Two soulless black eyes stared at them. “Honk.”

Hanging his legs on the counter edge, Dick teased, “You know what that means, don’t you Little D?”
“I will be spending the entire afternoon with Drake,” the grumpy assassin spat like the very activity would mortally wound him.
OR Dick tries to make Damian hang out with "Drake" but he never specified which one.

But that blind faith was long grounded to dust after the Joker broke the twentieth bone in Jason’s body.

Tim shuddered. Maybe it was more than just a few ducks. Recently, the infestation has gotten worse. Everywhere he turned, there was a duck. In his sock, in the sink, on his pillow, in his coffee pot.
Not only that, but the Red Hood had been following him more and more. He hadn’t done anything to be honest, but it was one thing to be chased by a wild duck for taking landscape pictures. It was entirely another thing to have a murderer walk up to him randomly and quack at him. The past weeks have been a... terrifying experience.
