Summary
Father is leaned against a wall with his hand over his face, Richard and Timothy are in similarly panicked states, alternating between glancing at Jason with barely concealed panic and thumbing through some information on the tablets. He assumes they are looking for a cure for the pit rage that has Jason pacing and snarling, sweat slick skin and glowing green eyes. It's a waste of time, the Lazarus Pit is not a flimsy fear gas they will be able to address by breaking down a few simple chemical components, not even Richard who admittedly has a knack for that type of thing.
Rather than wasting any more time Damian slides past his distracted and embarrassingly unaware family members and presses his finger to the biometric lock on the outside of the cell.
OR
Damian helps Jason though a pit rage episode and the family learns a little bit more about their history

Summary
Sea gods were possessive. That had been the truth for every sea god person Percy had met. They liked what was theirs and they protected it with a ferocity Percy didn’t really see elsewhere. Whether it be gold, or territory, or something else altogether, if a sea god possessed it, it was theirs. It wasn’t just sea gods either. Those that came from the sea, whether that be god, demigod, or human alike, had the same affinity for possession. It just hadn’t ever really applied to Percy until then.
